Wakfu changes North American publishing away from Square Enix

North American fans of the sandbox MMO Wakfu may be interested to hear that the game will be switching publishers in the West as announced in a press release earlier today.

Square Enix will be handing full responsibility and control of the game in North American markets over to the game's developer, Ankama Games, starting March 1, 2013. This control includes community management, customer support, promotion, sales, marketing, and all other live operation duties. Our own Beau Hindman gave Wakfu his "The Bestest Ever" award for 2012 and the game has earned respect among many sandbox fans for its unique gameplay and mechanics. But recent layoffs at Square Enix had us all wondering how its MMO division would be affected. Hello,Dofus players.Early leveling (1-40)

     From level one to at least level twenty, every characteristic point should be spent in strength (criticism: please note that the advised daggers have agi requirements. you will need to compensate with equipment or scroll it). After that, some Srams become more of a strength/agility hybrid by boosting agility in Dofus Kamas .

    Some will choose to remain primarily strength, while scrolling agility to at least 50 (which can be done fairly cheaply - the total cost should be under 350kk Dofus Kamas). Generally speaking, raising vitality with points from leveling is a waste of points once you reach higher levels, and is not reccomended.  ou acheter des kamas

    Obviously, a Young Adventurer Gear will help a great deal in the first few levels. However, if that is out of your price range, mixing affordable pieces of the gob ball and adventurer sets can have good results in Dofus Kamas. Once you are level ten, try to obtain a decent pair of Gob boots and a Bouze le Clerc's ring, as the added life will help your fragile Sram greatly.

    Early leveling can be done in the tutorial on the weak arachnee, or by fighting single low-level monsters around Astrub and Amakna. Until you reach level nine, level Gob balls with 3 MP (so lvl 3 or 6) will be the best source of XP. As you level a bit, you will get access to a few new spells in Dofus Kamas. At level three, Deceitful Attack becomes available, but as it is a fire-based spell, should not be leveled with a Strength build. At level six, you will receive Mistake. While Mistake looks promising, it has several shortfalls, and is an air spell. It also should not be leveled with a Strength build.

    At this point, you are several levels in and hopefully have yet to spend any spell points. The early spells are fairly unhelpful to a Sram, but there are several coming up which are very nice. At level nine, Tricky Blow becomes available.  acheter des kamas par sms

   This is one of the bread and butter spells of a low-level Sram, and should immediately be raised to (but not above) level three. Level three Tricky Blow only requires 3 AP, and has a knock back range of 3 squares. This will allow you to 'juggle' monsters with 4 MP, by attacking them, using Tricky Blow, and then walking away. Provided that you do it properly, the monster will always be chasing you, and never able to hit you. Unfortunately, this only works on monsters with melee attacks (not ranged), and it doesn't work with 5 MP+ monsters, but it will work on any single gob balls in Dofus Kamas.

Blizzard: Diablo 3 expansion in the works

    A Diablo 3 expansion is in development, Blizzard has confirmed.

    During an investor call last night Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime revealed an expansion to the 10 million-selling action role-playing game is in the works, but stopped short of saying when it will release.

    “So we do have a plan,” he said. “An expansion planned for Diablo. I don't have any timeline to talk about. I think that the most important thing for us always comes down to the quality of the expansion and the game play, and so that will be a big factor in terms of driving our schedule.”

    Two years ago Blizzard's release schedule leaked onto the internet. It detailed a Q2 2013 release window for Diablo 3 X1 and a Q4 2014 release window for Diablo 3 X2. But we should note that this graph may be outdated (it was accurate as of 2nd April 2010). If Blizzard keeps to this schedule, it means the first Diablo 3 expansion will release roughly a year after the main game launched.(1)

    Meanwhile, Morhaime touched briefly on Blizzard All-Stars, its in-development MOBA game.

    Little has been heard of it since it was announced, save for some high-profile back and forth between Blizzard and Valve over the use of the Dota name (both parties settled their differences, with Valve retaining control over the term).

    “Blizzard All-Stars is in development, and we're doing some great work,” Morhaime said.

    “Some internal testing is under way. We're doing a lot of things to experiment with game play, and I don't really have anything concrete to announce on this call, other than we're very excited about the game.”

     As reported last night, Star Craft 2 expansion Heart of the Swarm won't be released until the first half of 2013.  C9 gold
